Freelance Ghost Writer / Editor / Blogger / Proofreader / Curator / Coach, September 2014 to present

This work is intermittent. Duties include picking up contracted freelance work in writing and editing, working for multiple companies and individuals; proofreading books, editing, writing, ghostwriting, blogging, setting up blogs, blog assistance/coaching, co-writing and more. Clients include or have included independent authors and content creation companies.

 

 

Social Media Management and Consulting, Shiva Mandir Center for Vedic Studies, May 2012 – May 2013

This was a volunteer position. I created the organization's blog, managed it, edited content, wrote some pieces, offered ideas for content and connected to appropriate audiences through social media such as Facebook pages and groups, Twitter and email. The blog resulted in an increase of registered class participants which began with 5 regulars and at the end of my time there increased to approximately 25+ participants. The work also resulted in creating much buzz for the Mandir with 60 or more online participants taking part in Shiva Mandir activities.

 

 

Freelance Social Media Management and Consulting, May 2012 – September 2014

This was a mixture of paid, volunteer and for-trade work. During this time, multiple social media management, blogging, and consulting assignments from other artists and professionals were obtained. Work included short term assignments in editing, writing, organizing content, ideas, and instruction on how to use social media outlets. Client based increased to a point where a billing system had to be implemented.
